Whenever many of us question Bush's leadership, the necessity of the Iraq war or the direction of the war on terrorism we, are invariably asked, "Have you forgotten 9-11?"
Americans will never forget 9-11, and many of us have images seared on our memories of that day and the following days that REQUIRE us to question the administrations actions since 9-11.
I will never forget that Bush was warned in August 2001 that Al Qaeda was planning a major attack, but did nothing.
I will never forget that after being informed of the second Tower being hit, Bush sat in a classroom in Florida for twenty minutes while people were dying in New York and did nothing.
I will never forget that both towers could have been cleared after the first plane hit if Bush had issued orders based on the warnings he'd gotten the previous month.
I will never forget that no planes were scrambled to protect New York or Washington even though the FAA and NORAD knew within minutes that four planes had been hijacked.
I will never forget that days after 9-11, members of the Saudi royal family and the Bin Laden family without being questioned were allowed to leave a locked-down America.
I will never forget that no 9-11 air traffic controllers have ever been interviewed by our supposedly free press.
I will never forget the testimony of Colleen Rowley.
I will never forget that NO ONE has lost his job or been held responsible for the failures of 9-11.
I will never forget that 9-11 widow Ellen Mariani has bravely filed a lawsuit against Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Ashcroft under the RICO act and her press conference was not covered by any major US media outlets, newspapers or TV news.
No, I will never forget what happened on 9-11
