Are Conservatives Mentally Challenged?
A wise man once said, “Voting for Bush indicates an inherent character flaw in ones personality.” This thought was re-enforced by my first road trip through the Bible belt and Bush country this summer. One of the most recognizable aspects of this area of the country was the sea of No Trespassing signs dotting the landscape; as if the only intention I can possibly have is to invade their two acres of hillbilly heaven. Seeing this supported my proposition that:
Conservatives do not, and can not understand the complex and dynamic concept that is society, and as a result, are socially paranoid people.
The conservative ideology attracts people with an over-exaggerated sense of self-importance in contrast to that of Human kind. Conservatism rewards one dimensional thinkers and people who are unable to develop a meaningful social consciousness. Their pre-historic disposition is clearly displayed in their inability to manipulate information into well-informed decisions. They refuse to acknowledge the possibility that their beliefs insult rational thought. Their self-righteousness, sprinkled with paranoia, is also evident in the unprecedented culture of secrecy of this and other conservative administrations. Americas greatest enemy is not terrorism, (as defined by our current administration), but by the constant failings of an obsolete, dysfunctional conservative ideology.
One only needs to look at the hypocritical fact that the enemies we are fighting, Osama and Saddam, were put into power by conservative administrations; this should clearly demonstrate that the greatest enemy the American people have are conservative thinkers.
