BUSH IGNORES HIS CONSTITUTIONAL DUTY


Our President is under law, as spelled out in the Constitution, to defend, protect and secure our country.

Then why is he doing the following? Look at it, absorb it, and think about it.

Basic security upgrades needed in Subways and commuter trains in major cities
$6 billion, equal to 20 days of Iraq spending
Bush budget allocation for train security, $100 million or 8 hours of Iraq spending.

Amount needed to equip all US airports with bomb sniffing machines, $3 billion, or 10 days of Iraq spending
Amount Bush allocated, $400 million, or 32 hours of Iraq spending.

Amount needed for increased security at 361 US ports, $1.1 billion, or 4 days of Iraq spending.
Amount Bush allocated for port security, $210 million, or 17 hours of Iraq spending.

Amount needed to detect dirty bombs at US ports, $290 million, or 23 hours of Iraq spending
Bush allocated $43 million for dirty bomb detection, or 3 hours of Iraq spending.

Amount needed to get local emergency personal ready for a terrorist attack, 1.4 billion, or 4 days of Iraq spending
Bush allocation for emergency medical spending, $50 million, or 4 hours of Iraq spending, then he canceled that.
