Yahoo! News Message Boards Politics News: "There is a LONG list of things America has done over the past 60 years that have brought us to the point we are in now.

The list I think of starts with the overthrow of Iran in '53, the slaughter of Vietnamese in the 60's, the various and sundry ways we have influenced elections and leadership in countries around the world, and especially the middle east.

All of these things have essentially blown up in our face. Our answer? More bombs. More 'regime change'. Perpetual war through terrorism.
