After 9/11, liberals, conservatives, and independents were behind the president. Despite our ridiculous foreign policies, we were attacked and nobody would deny we had the right of self-defense. Even the world community was vocal in it's support. So all Bush had to do was root out key members of Al-Qaeda who were likely suspects of 9/11. Had that been done, justice would have been served, Al-Qaeda would have been, at least, fragmented, and hundreds of soldiers would still be alive. And Bush would have been a shoe-in for Election '04. Hundreds of deaths later, no justice for 9/11, Osama still giving us the one-digit salute, and a deficit that will bankrupt our kids, Bush now enjoys the support of a small contingency of rabid neo-cons who care nothing about the lives of American soldiers and regularly take a holiday on Rush Limbaugh's birthday. Mr. Bush, you had your chance. Step aside, please. "
