Just before dawn, September 1, 1983, a Soviet SU-15 fired on and hit a Korean Air Lines Boeing 747 (KAL Flight 007) which carried 269 passengers and crew, including 61 Americans... Although not technically a terrorist attack Reagan did not retaliate.
October 23, 1983, 243 U.S. Marines in Lebanon... Reagan withdraws from Lebanon and does not retaliate.
On October 7, 1985 four heavily armed terrorists representing the Palestine Liberation Front (PLF) hijacked the Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro killing 1 American... Foreign governments arrest the perpetrators and Reagan Does not retaliate against the PLO who the incident is tied to.
April 6, 1986 La Belle discotheque bombing was a terroristic attack on a discotheque in West Berlin that was frequented by US soldiers. The attack is tied to Lybia… Reagan finally retaliates by bombing a tent and killing 15 month old daughter of Kadafy.
TWA Flight 840 The flight was bombed on April 2, 1986. Killing 4 Americans... Reagan again does not retaliate.
1988 flight Pan Am 103 exploded and pieces of the plane fell onto the Scottish town of Lockerbie, killing 259... Libya refused to hand over the two suspects, Bush Sr. does not retaliate.
The World Trade Center bombing refers to the February 26, 1993 attack in the garage of the New York City World Trade Center... Clinton gets the perps, and tries to get Osama once he knows Osamas involvement.

1999 Ahmed Ressam is arrested on the US-Canada border in Port Angeles, Washington; he confessed to planning to bomb the Los Angeles International Airport as part of the 2000 celebration terrorist attacks plot... Clinton stopped the attack as well as 3 other attacks around the world slated for that night.
U.S. guided missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) is attacked, that occurred on October 12, 2000. This is less then a month before the elections... Clinton had no time but Bush Jr. had 8 months before 9/11 and he did nothing. It took 3 years and 9/11 before Bush did anything!
9/11/2001 WTC attacks bring the Towers down killing 3000...Bush attacks Iraq.
So tell me folks just how can you say Republicans protect Americans? How can you blame Clinton for not doing anything when it's the republicans that did nothing until AFTER 9/11? Your argument, “CLINTON DID NOTHING!” fails miserably! As well does the Republican Party!
