Yahoo! News Message Boards Politics News: "Of course not. So far there is no evidence that any terrorists (excepting the US, which is now in the process of developing more) has nukes, but it is a possibility. There are rumors that Al Qaeda has purchased suitcase devices from former Soviet sources.

To protect ourselves from that we need to establish good relationships with other nations and avail ourselves of whatever itelligence and help is possible. We should put money into protecting the ports and containers coming into the country (not underfund it as now). We should support nuclear non-proliferation to reduce sources of nuclear devices from nations developing them in response to US development.

We should long ago have given aid and worked to reduce economic problems in former Soviet areas, and of Soviet scientists so that there is less incentive to sell nuclear materials and plans on the black market. We should follow similar policy in Pakistan, North Korea, and other nuclear nations.

All these things comprise an issue -- but are not related to terror-alert warnings. They are a reason to get Bush and his crazies out of government. "
